Kelly Quick

Kelly is a mother of 2, is a highly active rider and has been attending our events since 2020. After a few years, her interest in joining us grew. She is hoping that by joining she can continue to help bring awareness of how distracted driving can impact other people and families. If she isn't out riding, she is out spending time with her husband and kids, her horse, and her 2 dogs.

Jeremy Cowles

Jeremy is an active truck driver who loves to ride and be outdoors as much as possible when he isn't out on the road. He has helped us with previous rides and has became interested in our cause.

Jeanne Cowles

 Jeanne is a mother of 3 and a nana of 3. She loves to spend time with family and friends riding motorcycles and being on the lake. She wants to help bring more awareness to the DYSUN cause.

 Alex Quick

Alex is a father of 2, a highly active rider and decided to join us in 2025. If he's not out riding, he's doing whatever he can outside or spending time with his kids. He's hoping to bring more awareness to the public on distracted driving and how it can affect us fellow riders.

Rachel Helsel

Rachel was born and raised in Northern MI and a mother to 2 wonderful boys. She started riding as a passenger in 2020 and went on to ride her own bike the following spring. Her family was the 2024 DYSUN recipient in honor of her late husband Shawn Helsel who was killed by a distracted driver on July 3rd 2023. Rachel goal in being a part of the DYSUN team is to bring awareness to distracted driving and make more people aware of motorcycles on the road so all of my fellow riders can make it home safe to their families.

Roman Hank

Roman has been involved with DYSUN since the beginning. He had been a board member in the past but had to step down for a bit, but now he is back and wanting to bring more attention to distracted driving. Summer is meant for motorcycling and he rides as much as he can.

Rachelle Erwin

Rachelle is a Co-founder of DYSUN, Rachelle loves most things related to the outdoors.  She is also an avid rider, mother of a busy 11 year-old son, and paramedic.  Sadly, Rachelle has seen the devastation from distracted driving, and hopes that DYSUN can help support families and first responders that are affected by the trauma.

Steve Erwin- Lost way too soon at the age of 41 due to COVID.  Our hearts are broken.  The memories made and shared will remain with us forever.  Ride free and watch over us.
